Amparo G. Flores

Amparo G. Flores, a loving and caring woman who cherished her family deeply, entered eternal rest in Brownsville, Texas, on March 20, 2026. Born in Brownsville on July 16, 1949, Amparo lived a life full of devotion to those she held dear.

She is survived by her husband, Eliseo Delgado Flores; her daughter, Olga Guerra, and son-in-law Antonio Guerra; two grandchildren, Antonio Guerra Jr. (Clarissa Cantu) and Marcos Guerra; as well as two great-grandchildren, Cayleb King Guerra and Lennox Colt Guerra. Amparo’s family was the heart of her life, and she was always there with warmth and kindness for those she loved.

Amparo was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Marcos Garza and Maria Gomez, and her daughter, Lisa Flores.

Visitation services will be held at Trevino Funeral Home in Brownsville, Texas, located at 1355 Old Port Isabel Rd. The visitation will begin on Monday, March 23, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. and continue until 9:00 p.m. and resumes the following morning on Tuesday, March 24 from 8:15 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. A chapel service to honor Amparo’s life will follow at 10:00 a.m. Her burial will take place at Buena Vista Burial Park, 1024 Mc Davitt Blvd, Brownsville, beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Amparo’s caring nature and the love she gave freely will be remembered by all who knew her. May Amparo rest in eternal peace.
