Alfredo Garcia

September 27, 1952 — September 14, 2023

Brownsville, Texas

Alfredo Garcia, a hardworking, respectful, caring, and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, passed away on September 14, 2023, in Brownsville, Texas. He was born on September 27, 1952, in Mexico to Mr. Jesus Garcia† and Mrs. Maria Guzman†.

Alfredo's life was a testament to his dedication and love for his family. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and selflessness that will forever be cherished by those who were lucky enough to know him. His passing has left a void in the hearts of everyone who had the honor of his unwavering love and support.

Alfredo's commitment to his family was evident in everything he did. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife Eloisa Zamora for 48 years. Their love served as an inspiration to all who witnessed it. Alfredo's children, Isabel Zamora, Mark Garcia, Joseph Garcia, and Cynthia (Horbi) Malave were blessed to have such a loving and caring father. He raised them with strong values and taught them the importance of hard work and perseverance.

As a grandfather, Alfredo held a special place in the hearts of his grandchildren. He took immense joy in spending time with them and creating lasting memories together. His presence always brought warmth and happiness to their lives.

Outside of his role as a devoted family man, Alfredo enjoyed several hobbies and interests. He found solace in playing golf and had a deep passion for fishing. Watching his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys, provided him with endless excitement and entertainment.

In addition to his immediate family, Alfredo is survived by his brothers Rolando Garza, Eddie Garza, and sister, Terry Longoria, as well as extended family members and friends who were fortunate enough to be part of his life.

Alfredo was preceded in death by his parents Jesus Garcia† and Maria Guzman†. He also mourned the loss of his brother Joe Garcia†. Although they are no longer with us, their memories will always hold a special place in Alfredo's heart.
